Kolmandik Tallinna koole soovib koolipäeva alustada varem kui kell üheksa 03.06.2026

Tallinna haridusamet kogub praegu umbes 20 munitsipaalkooli hoolekogude taotlusi, mis soovivad järgmisel õppeaastal alustada koolipäeva varem kui haridusministeeriumi poolt nõutud kella 9. Enamik koole soovib alustada kell 8.30 või 8.45, kuid mõned koolid soovivad alustada juba kell 8. Taotlused tuleb esitada hiljemalt 12. juuniks, ning iga taotlus hinnatakse eraldi selle põhjendatuse alusel. Koolid on toonud põhjendustena välja kahes vahetuses õppetöö, klassiti diferentseeritud koolipäeva alguse lõunapausi aja hajutamiseks ning liiklusummikute vältimiseks. Tallinna Merivälja kool on üks neist, kes kavatseb taotleda erandit, et säilitada oma varasem koolipäeva algus, viidates liikluskorralduse probleemidele. Pirita majandusgümnaasium on edukalt üle läinud kella üheksasele algusele ja märganud õpilaste positiivset muutust.
