Italy followed closely with over 90 million visitors. While French tourism revenue reached a record 77.5 billion euros in 2025, driven by European travelers and a significant increase in American tourists, Asian tourism, particularly from China, has not yet recovered to pre-pandemic levels. Concerns about overtourism are also rising in these top destinations.
