"La maison a tremblé" : un séisme signalé ce samedi matin 21.02.2026

A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was detected near Dinan, in the Côtes-d’Armor region of Brittany, France, on Saturday, February 21st, around 7 AM. The Bureau central sismologique français (BCSF) located the epicenter near the commune of Evran. Several residents in surrounding areas, including Vildé-Guingalan, Saint-Judoce, and Lanvallay, reported hearing or feeling the tremors, with some describing it as a slight shaking of their homes. This event is significantly less powerful than the strongest earthquake recorded in Brittany in the 21st century, which was a magnitude 5.4 in Languidic in 2002.
