L'ancienne journaliste de CNews et Europe 1 Sonia Mabrouk annonce rejoindre BFMTV 20.02.2026

Journalist Sonia Mabrouk, formerly a prominent figure at CNews and Europe 1, announced on Friday, February 20, 2026, that she will be joining the editorial team at BFMTV. Mabrouk cited the ambition and vision of Rodolphe Saadé, owner of the RMC BFM group, as a key factor in her decision, drawing a parallel with Vincent Bolloré's capacity to build strong, long-term groups. BFMTV confirmed that Mabrouk will host a significant political program in anticipation of the 2027 presidential election. Her departure from the Bolloré group followed controversy surrounding Jean-Marc Morandini's continued presence on air despite legal convictions, leading to Morandini's eventual withdrawal and the creation of a new show hosted by Gauthier Le Bret. Earlier in the week, France Télévisions president Delphine Ernotte Cunci stated that the public broadcaster had no plans to hire Mabrouk.
