The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC) has issued a warning regarding an expected heatwave starting early next week. Forecasters predict that air temperatures will gradually rise, reaching +28 to +30 degrees Celsius during the day. The hottest weather is expected in the central and southern regions of the country, while temperatures along the coast will be slightly lower due to the influence of the sea.
