The Gaec des Chapuis in Sermoyer, Ain, has revolutionized its dairy operations with the installation of eight GEA-brand milking robots in July 2024. This "batch milking" system, supported by the consumer-driven brand "C'est qui le Patron?!", allows for automated, twice-daily milk collection from 195 Montbéliarde cows without human intervention. The Waldner family, operating the 310-hectare farm, produces 1.8 million liters of milk annually for the cooperative, alongside raising nearly 9,000 Label Rouge certified free-range chickens. This significant investment, facilitated by the brand's valorization of their production, marks a major upgrade in their farming practices.
