Le géant chinois Shein arrive mercredi dans cinq magasins de province du BHV : voici les villes concernées 24.02.2026

The Chinese e-commerce giant Shein is set to launch in five provincial BHV stores on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, marking a significant expansion into physical retail in France. The cities of Dijon, Reims, Grenoble, Angers, and Limoges will host these new Shein sections, which will range from 500 to 1,000 square meters and initially feature a predominantly winter collection. This rollout, previously announced and delayed, will adapt its offerings to local preferences by early April. The arrival has sparked concern among BHV employees regarding job security and has drawn criticism from over 80 French deputies who have called for a ban on Shein, citing environmental damage and the impact on local employment. Despite these concerns, a recent survey indicates that 38% of French consumers purchased from ultra-fast fashion platforms in 2025, attracted by low prices and product variety.
