The school cafeteria "Les P’tits Palais" in Bouvron, Loire-Atlantique, has achieved the highest Ecocert "en cuisine" distinction, earning three carrots and an "Excellence" mention. This recognition, awarded in November 2025, makes it the second establishment in the Pays de la Loire region to receive this top honor. The cafeteria is managed by volunteers from its eponymous association and is situated in a commune experiencing significant demographic growth, which has necessitated an extension of the school restaurant facilities. The chefs Antoine Grimaud and Joël Josse, along with managers Denis Roux and Pauline Plassard, are central to this achievement.
