Le riverain tire avec une arme à feu pour faire fuir les chasseurs : des plombs sont retombés sur un jeune homme, la fédération de chasse excédée 20.02.2026

The president of a hunting society in Fumel is contesting the portrayal of a hunting incident on February 18th, where a resident fired a weapon. Arnaud Roussille asserts that the shot was not a mere deterrent but was directed towards a group on private property, approximately 300 meters from the shooter's home, not in close proximity as initially reported. During the authorized hunt, three individuals, including a young man accompanying dogs, were present. Roussille claims the man arrived angry and fired at the group, not into the air, and that pellets fell on the young man, who fled in shock. While not physically injured due to the distance, the young man, who has since consulted a doctor and filed a complaint, was significantly traumatized. The shooter will face the Agen judicial tribunal in April for charges of violence with a weapon, with Roussille emphasizing that such actions endanger lives and that prior tensions do not justify the use of a firearm.
