However, campaigning has resumed, with a major debate scheduled for Tuesday and a meeting by Jean-Luc Mélenchon on Thursday. A portrait of Deranque was installed on the facade of the regional hotel on Saturday, February 21st, preceding a march in his memory. The incident has sparked a public exchange between Jean-Michel Aulas and the incumbent mayor, Grégory Doucet.
