The ski resorts in Haute-Garonne are experiencing an "almost ideal" scenario with a combination of sunshine and snow, leading to a significant boost in visitor numbers. Baptiste Rabasse, director of the Haute-Garonne resort management, stated that the much-needed sun has finally arrived, coinciding with consistent snowfall that has not hindered access to the ski areas. Luchon Superbagnères, in particular, is seeing an average of 4,000 skier days daily, with a 30% increase in usage of the Crémaillère Express, attracting contemplatives, snowshoers, and ski tourers. This positive trend extends to other stations like Le Mourtis and Bourg d’Oueil, with ongoing events planned for the next two weeks.
