Leichte Erholung erwartet DAX dürfte mit Gewinnen starten 24.02.2026

The German DAX index is expected to open with slight gains, trading 0.2 percent higher at 25,031 points, following a decline below 25,000 points and a 1.1 percent loss at the start of the week. New tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, initially ten and now fifteen percent, are fueling financial market uncertainty, compounded by the Iran conflict, leading to increased risk aversion. This "tariff chaos" is anticipated to continue impacting markets, with analysts noting confusion over the duration and applicability of these tariffs. US stock markets experienced significant losses, with the Dow Jones down 1.7 percent, the S&P 500 down one percent, and the Nasdaq down 1.1 percent, partly due to concerns over the economic impact of Artificial Intelligence and renewed trade policy uncertainty after the Supreme Court overturned some of Trump's tariffs.
