Leur voisin garde une grue dans son jardin depuis 19 ans : ils craignent qu’elle s’écroule sur leur maison 18.02.2026

Residents in Luze, Haute-Saône, are living in fear due to a construction crane that has remained on a neighbor's property for 19 years, since 2007. Pascal Wimmer, whose home is directly beneath the crane, has expressed grave concerns about its structural integrity, noting water damage and cracking on his roof and fearing it could collapse on his house. Despite repeated attempts to alert authorities, the situation has escalated, leading Wimmer and four other residents to file a complaint for "endangerment of others." The crane was erected in 2007 after the property owner obtained municipal authorization, but construction has since stalled, leaving the imposing structure a constant source of anxiety for the neighborhood. The mayor acknowledges the issue but states his hands are tied due to the crane being on private property and his limited legal recourse.
