Ligue 2 : quel est le projet du nouvel actionnaire majoritaire du Mans FC ? 19.02.2026

Le Mans FC, located in Sarthe, has officially announced OutField as its new majority shareholder as of February 19, 2026. OutField, a Latin America-based investment firm specializing in the sports industry with over $150 million in capital strategies, aims to accelerate the club's structural development and growth by providing necessary resources. This strategic move involves prominent sports figures such as former Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen, tennis legend Novak Djokovic, and Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The project, overseen by OutField partner Aymeric Magne in France and with Georgios Frangulis leading brand direction, prioritizes acquiring the Pincenardière training center, reopening the club's training academy in July 2026 after a decade-long closure, and strengthening the sports and administrative teams. President Thierry Gomez will remain in his role, collaborating with OutField on a shared vision for a modern, territorially anchored, and internationally competitive club.
