LIVE - Middle East War: Israel and Lebanon Condition Ceasefire on "Complete Halt" of Hezbollah Fire 04.06.2026

Following two days of talks in Washington, Israel and Lebanon agreed on Wednesday to implement a ceasefire, conditioned on a complete halt of Hezbollah fire and the evacuation of its members from the South Litani sector. "Pilot zones" under the control of the Lebanese army will also be established. This agreement comes after Israeli strikes that caused at least 10 deaths in Lebanon and Hezbollah fire against Israel. Furthermore, an ambulance from the Islamic Health Committee, affiliated with Hezbollah, was targeted by an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, killing a medic. The Israeli army also reported an infiltration of a hostile device in northern Israel, before correcting the information. A new round of talks is scheduled for the week of June 22 for a comprehensive agreement.
