Luxury watch thief caught wearing neon T-shirt in chip shop jailed 11h ago

James Wall, a thief from Bristol, has been sentenced to two years in prison for a burglary committed on December 13th in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, where he stole Gucci and Cartier watches, a diamond ring, and foreign currency. Police were alerted after Wall verbally abused a witness and fled the scene in a silver Vauxhall Insignia, reaching speeds of nearly 100mph before attempting to drive the wrong way on the A2. Although the driver was arrested, Wall escaped and was later apprehended in a chip shop near Bexley, identified by his distinctive neon T-shirt. Digital forensics from his seized phone confirmed his presence at the burglary site, and the abandoned vehicle contained stolen property packaging and false license plates.
