Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, stated that the meeting planned with European Commission representatives on June 11 regarding visa-free travel will be constructive. She noted that the Georgian side will actively participate in the meeting, as it is in the country's interests. The minister also refuted statements by politicians and activists who, according to her, are using the issue of visa liberalization for blackmail and are trying to instill fear in citizens, as if they are under threat. The Georgian side asserts that there is no legal basis for the suspension of visa-free travel and will inform Brussels about the steps taken by the country and the results achieved with relevant information.
