Mar-a-Lago in Florida Eindringling bei Trumps Privatanwesen erschossen 22.02.2026

US Secret Service agents fatally shot an armed intruder who unlawfully entered the security perimeter of President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida overnight. The incident occurred around 1:30 AM at the north gate, where the man reportedly used a vehicle to gain access as the gate opened for another car. Upon being stopped by Secret Service agents and a sheriff's deputy, the individual was found to be carrying a shotgun and a gasoline can. He then aimed his rifle at the agents, leading to him being shot and killed. The intruder, identified as being in his early 20s from North Carolina, had been reported missing by his family days prior. Authorities are investigating the man's motive and how he acquired the rifle. President Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago at the time of the incident, having been at the White House with First Lady Melania Trump.
