Marche pour Quentin Deranque : des saluts nazis et des insultes racistes signalés 21.02.2026

The Rhône prefecture in France will refer incidents of Nazi salutes and racist/homophobic insults to the justice system following a march in Lyon honoring Quentin Deranque, a far-right activist killed on February 12th by anti-fascist militants. These reprehensible gestures and statements were identified on videos posted on social media during the tribute march, which drew approximately 3200 participants, many from the far-right. Prefect Fabienne Buccio is acting on instructions from the Minister of the Interior to report all detected objectionable acts and remarks to the public prosecutor. The march proceeded peacefully under heavy police surveillance to the location where the 23-year-old Deranque was beaten to death by far-left activists.
