The House of Representatives prosecution team has included the pseudonymous figure "Mary Grace Piattos" as a witness in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, according to a pre-trial brief obtained by GMA News Online. The name gained notoriety during a 2024 House good government inquiry into the budget use of the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education. Acknowledgment receipts for confidential fund disbursements showed Piattos as one of the recipients, but the Philippine Statistics Authority told the inquiry that no birth, death, or identification records exist for a person named "Mary Grace Piattos." Other similar pseudonyms include Xiaomi Ocho, Kokoy Villamin, and Milky Secuya.
