Matata Xplore has launched its AI-powered Solvia ED 8x32 series binoculars in the UK and Ireland, debuting at The Photography & Video Show. These binoculars combine traditional optics with an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor for capturing photos and video, featuring ED glass and BAK4 prisms for enhanced viewing. The integrated AI technology offers real-time wildlife identification and image enhancement, controlled via a 2.8-inch touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity to a companion app. The Solvia ED 8x32 Plus is priced at £429.99, while the Pro version, including a GPS unit and additional accessories, costs £529.99. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in May 2026, offering a significantly more affordable alternative to existing AI binoculars.
