The Regional Court in Bratislava has upheld the first-instance verdict in the dispute between MEP Milan Mazurek and the publishing house Petit Press. The dispute concerned a commentary from October 2018, in which SME commentator Zuzana Kepplová recalled Mazurek's attack on a Muslim family at the Bratislava main railway station in 2015. Mazurek, who was an MP for the ĽSNS at the time, claimed in the lawsuit that he is a citizen of good standing and that the newspaper unfairly portrayed him as an aggressive thug.
