Mexico's navy locates two missing sailboats carrying aid to Cuba, crew safe 11h ago

The Mexican Navy has located two missing sailboats from the Nuestra America Convoy, which were en route to Cuba carrying humanitarian aid. The vessels, which departed from Isla Mujeres, Mexico, last Saturday and were expected in Havana between March 24-25, are now continuing their journey. This aid effort aims to deliver food, medicine, and other supplies to Cuba amidst a U.S. blockade that has exacerbated power outages and rationing. The U.S. Coast Guard initially reported the boats found but later retracted the statement, causing confusion. The Nuestra America Convoy, a coalition of nearly 300 organizations from over 30 countries, has previously delivered approximately 20 tons of aid to Cuba.
