MIA Publishes Report on 'Ankara Summit, NATO 3.0 Discussions, and Turkey' 03.07.2026

In a report featuring a foreword by Prof. Dr. Talha Köse, President of MIA (Civilization Alliance Research), it is stated that the international security environment has become significantly more complex and unpredictable compared to the post-Cold War era. The report highlights that conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine War and tensions between the US, Israel, and Iran demonstrate that security can no longer be ensured solely through military capacity. Emphasizing NATO's central role in this transformation, the report argues that the alliance requires a new strategic framework under the concept of 'NATO 3.0'. Key features of this new era include the permanence of hybrid threats, with cyberattacks, disinformation, and energy pressure evolving into strategic tools. Furthermore, the report draws attention to the expansion of the security architecture beyond land, air, and sea domains to encompass cyberspace, outer space, and the cognitive domain.
