A grave scandal has emerged in Milan involving Atm employees who created a WhatsApp group called "Staff Ticinese" to share illicit images of female passengers. The group used surveillance cameras from public transport, specifically on tram 15, to capture photos of women's bodies, accompanying them with sexist and erotic comments. The activity was discovered by a passenger who saw the chat on an employee's phone. In response, Atm has launched an internal investigation and filed a report with the Local Police and the Privacy Guarantor. Mayor Beppe Sala has demanded decisive action and severe penalties for those responsible. Additionally, Codacons has filed a formal complaint with the Milan Prosecutor's Office and the Privacy Guarantor, suggesting that the actions may constitute criminal offenses, including revenge porn, and violating fundamental privacy rights.
