Soumia Kenzeddine, a 51-year-old industrial production technician of Moroccan nationality, has been recognized as one of seven laureates for the national Métiers pour ELLES competition. This award, funded by the Ministry of Labor and organized by the AFPA, aims to highlight women working in traditionally male-dominated fields. Kenzeddine, currently an interim worker in an electrical company in Saint-Benoît (Vienne), will receive her award in Paris on March 3rd, preceding International Women's Day on March 8th. The other laureates also come from AFPA training and represent professions such as crane operator, boilermaker, and automotive painter, sectors where female representation is statistically low, as indicated by INSEE data showing women concentrated in only 12 out of 87 professional families.
