Ukrainian woman who disguised herself as a man is main suspect in Monaco attack 03.07.2026

The main suspect in a bomb attack that wounded Ukrainian tycoon Vadym Yermolaiev in Monaco on Monday is a 39-year-old Ukrainian woman named Anastasiia Berezovska, who disguised herself as a man, local authorities confirmed. An Interpol Red Notice identifies Berezovska, who last resided in Germany and has a distinctive tattoo, possibly of a snake, on her right arm. After the explosion, which occurred in the entranceway of a luxury apartment building, the suspect fled to neighboring France and then drove to Italy in a rented German-registered car. Prosecutors stated the sophistication of the bomb suggests multiple perpetrators were involved, though two men arrested in Monaco were released due to lack of evidence.
