The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has informed that due to the active influence of the monsoon across the country, rain is likely in most locations today. Currently, there is cloudy weather in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, while there is partial cloudiness in Madhesh Province. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in some parts of Bagmati, Koshi, and Lumbini provinces. Today afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow, moderate rain is expected in some parts of the Himalayan, hilly, and Terai regions, with snowfall possible in high Himalayan areas. The Department has requested caution as heavy rain is likely in one or two locations within the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
