Moraes authorizes transfer of Bolsonaro's Saudi jewels to the Federal Revenue Service 03.07.2026

Supreme Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes has authorized the transfer of Saudi jewels gifted to former President Jair Bolsonaro and former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro. The decision, dated Thursday (2), mandates that the items, currently held at a Caixa Econômica Federal branch in Brasília, be moved to the São Paulo Airport Customs. The request was made by the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal), which considers the transfer essential to proceed with the forfeiture of the assets in favor of the Union, valued at R$ 6.8 million. The Prosecutor General's Office (PGR) also expressed a favorable opinion, stating there is no longer a criminal interest in the seizure of the jewels. Bolsonaro had been indicted by the Federal Police for criminal association, money laundering, and misappropriation of public assets, but the criminal investigation was archived by the PGR.
