Mordprozess: „Hat mich richtig wütend gemacht“ – Polizistin spricht über Angeklagten und Raser-Videos 20.02.2026

In a Wuppertal court, disturbing videos from the defendant's mobile phone, recorded while he was driving a 640 PS sports car with a blood alcohol content of 1.46 Promille, have caused shock. The footage shows the 25-year-old defendant driving at speeds of up to 150 km/h within city limits and 327 km/h on other occasions, with laughter from him and passengers audible. A police commissioner testified that the defendant's behavior in traffic was infuriating, noting recordings of him filming himself at 255 km/h and accelerating rapidly on a supermarket parking lot. The defendant has confessed to causing the death of a 19-year-old woman and severely injuring a 17-year-old in Remscheid on April 30th of last year, stating he wanted to show off while intoxicated. The prosecution accuses him of murder, attempted murder, dangerous bodily harm, and illegal street racing, among other charges, with five instances of illegal street racing between 2022 and 2024 also attributed to him.
