Mort de Quentin Deranque à Lyon : Six suspects mis en examen pour « homicide volontaire » 19.02.2026

Six men have been indicted for voluntary homicide in connection with the fatal assault of nationalist activist Quentin Deranque in Lyon a week prior. The investigation, led by Public Prosecutor Thierry Dran, also saw an assistant to LFI deputy Raphaël Arnault indicted for complicity. While seven suspects were initially sought for provisional detention, only two, including Arnault's assistant Jacques-Elie Favrot, 25, and Adrian Beysseyre, 25, were detained. Some suspects admitted to striking Deranque, with three reportedly linked to the far-left movement. The ages of the accused range from 20 to 26, and the charges include aggravated violence, with some suspects being armed. Four other individuals arrested were released but will be summoned later.
