M'sian minister Hannah Yeoh confirms divorce after 18 years of marriage 03.09.2026

Malaysian Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Hannah Yeoh, has confirmed her divorce from Ramachandran Muniandy, CEO and co-founder of Asia Mobiliti, as of September 2. The couple married in 2008, shortly before Yeoh entered politics, and have two children born in 2011 and 2013. Yeoh's press secretary confirmed the divorce to The Star but provided no further details, asking the public to give the family space. Yeoh, a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), serves as MP for Segambut and oversees Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. She previously served as Minister of Youth and Sports (2022-2025) and Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development (2018-2020), and made history in 2013 as the first woman and youngest Speaker of the Selangor Legislative Assembly.
