This action followed a protest on Friday where a flashmob, singing John Farnham's "Two Strong Hearts," deliberately included the lyric "like a river to the sea" without leading to any arrests, highlighting a perceived inconsistency in enforcement. The ban, despite civil liberties concerns, has also been considered by New South Wales, with Premier Chris Minns citing its operation in Queensland.
