Municipales 2026 à Agde : Radicaux de gauche, RN, sans étiquette… quels candidats se présentent à l’élection ? 20.02.2026

The upcoming 2026 municipal elections in Agde are shaping up with a diverse field of candidates following the political uncertainty caused by the former mayor Gilles d'Ettore's incarceration and subsequent resignation in March and June 2024, respectively. Sébastien Frey, who became mayor in June 2024 after serving as first deputy since 2002, is seeking re-election. He faces competition from Thierry Nadal, who was previously defeated in 2020, and Aurélien Lopez-Liguori, a National Rally deputy who resigned from the Sète municipal council to run in Agde. Fabienne Varesano is also running independently after not receiving her former party's endorsement. Other candidates include entrepreneur Jean-Marc Bentajou and Arthur Labatut, representing the Radicaux de gauche, who is leading the only officially left-wing list. Didier Irailles, another entrepreneur, is also participating in the race.
