Municipales à Paris : le chiffrage hasardeux du programme de Sarah Knafo 23.02.2026

Sarah Knafo, a candidate for Paris mayor with the Reconquête! party, has presented her campaign platform as the "most ambitious" and "rigorously costed" project, detailed in a 130-page manifesto. However, a closer examination of her proposals reveals questionable financial estimations, including underestimated expenses and unrealistic savings. A flagship initiative, a two-kilometer promenade above reopened Seine riverbanks, faces significant regulatory and technical hurdles. Urban planner Bernard Landau points out that the project conflicts with the Seine's UNESCO World Heritage status, necessitates the removal of over 100 mature trees, and proposes a structural approach that Landau deems unfeasible without substantial reinforcement of existing infrastructure.
