Murder case filed after couple, foetus found dead in locked Ashulia room 06.09.2026

A murder case has been filed following the discovery of the decomposed bodies of a couple and a five-month-old foetus in a locked room in Ashulia's Madhya Jamgora area. The victims were identified as Alamgir Hossain, 42, a betel-leaf seller, and his wife Nazma Akter, 33, a garment factory worker. Nazma's sister, Shapla Begum, filed the case against unidentified individuals at Ashulia Police Station on September 6.
