Mystical Awakening: Naka Cave Reopens in Lush Green Splendour 02.06.2026

Naka Cave in Thailand's Phu Langka National Park officially reopened on June 1, 2026, after a month-long ecological closure during the rainy season. This period allowed the park's ecosystem to recover, enhancing the area's "lush green splendour" with vibrant foliage and mist. The reopening was marked by a cultural ceremony and an eco-tourism campaign managed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Udon Thani Office. Initiatives include a giveaway of limited-edition souvenirs, the #First100ConquerorsOfNakaCave, for the first 100 hikers to reach the summit, and the #First100StayAndTravel campaign encouraging longer stays and local economic support. Park rangers also used the closure to repair facilities and improve visitor safety.
