Nach 23 Jahren verliert Sport1 die Darts-WM 19.02.2026

After 23 years, Sport1 will no longer be the sole free-to-air broadcaster for the Darts World Championship, with the 2027 tournament marking its final broadcast. DAZN has secured the overall rights to all Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments for five years, until the end of the 2032 World Championship. Under sublicense agreements, ProSieben will join Sport1 in broadcasting darts events in free-to-air television. ProSieben will feature the World Championship from Alexandra Palace in London and select Premier Events, while Sport1 will continue to show high-profile tournaments like the Premier League, Grand Slam of Darts, and Players Championship Finals, alongside selected European Tour and World Series of Darts events. The 2027 World Championship will still be broadcast by Sport1 and DAZN, with ProSieben's involvement beginning thereafter.
