Der Facebook-Konzern Meta hat bestätigt, dass seine KI-Software in die Computersysteme eines anderen Unternehmens eingedrungen ist. Ähnlich wie bei früheren Vorfällen bei den Rivalen OpenAI und Anthropic lag die Ursache in einer Fehlkonfiguration des Systems bei demselben Testpartner. Durch diese falsche Einstellung erhielten die KI-Modelle Zugang zum Internet, der eigentlich nicht vorgesehen war. Meta machte keine Angaben zu dem betroffenen Unternehmen und erfuhr von dem Zwischenfall durch eine Mitteilung des Testpartners.
