The legal challenge alleges that properly nominated representatives from the Immigration Sector were sidelined because the Presidency failed to issue formal appointment letters, despite their prior participation in meetings and elections. The applicants argue that these administrative delays should not invalidate nominations made through recognized sector processes. They are seeking a court order to compel the Presidency to recognize them as legitimate representatives and to issue formal appointment letters within seven days.
