This proposed modification, which follows a recent Planning Control amendment that reduced the front garden setback and increased the developable footprint, aims to add eight new apartments to the 136 already approved in December 2021. The original development comprises two towers, one 10-storey and one 8-storey, with 136 residential units, basement parking, commercial/community uses, and landscaped open space. An objection has been filed, citing concerns about increased traffic and parking, the strain on the existing narrow road network, and the cumulative impact of development on Naxxar's infrastructure and skyline, particularly its proximity to the parish church.
