Minister of Health Tadej Ostrc announced that an open and honest dialogue has led to an agreement ensuring the continued provision of interventional radiology at the University Medical Centre (UKC) Maribor. The Ministry of Health stated that they thank the radiologists for their "responsible decision" in the interest of patients, as the agreement represents an important step toward stabilizing conditions and ensuring uninterrupted healthcare in northeastern Slovenia and beyond. The Ministry, together with UKC Maribor, will continue activities to achieve a long-term resolution of the situation and strengthen stability and trust in the operation of the public health institution. The details of the agreement will be presented at a press conference on Monday.
