Nestlé se désengage du marché des glaces et partiellement des eaux en bouteille 19.02.2026

Nestlé, under its new CEO Philipp Navratil, is undergoing a strategic refocusing on four core pillars: coffee, pet care, nutrition, and culinary/snacks. This restructuring involves a complete exit from the ice cream market through the divestment of remaining shares in the Forneri joint venture. Furthermore, the company is partially withdrawing from the bottled water sector, with formal engagement with potential partners for Nestlé Waters and Premium Beverages commencing in Q1 2026, and deconsolidation expected from 2027. This move follows previous decisions in November 2024 to spin off its premium water and beverage activities, including brands like Perrier and San Pellegrino, amidst scrutiny over alleged illicit treatment of natural and spring waters.
