Several river gauges have already reached alert level three, indicating potential flooding of properties, basements, and roads. The risk is particularly high in southern Germany, including Upper Franconia and the Upper Bavarian Forest, with Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Schleswig-Holstein also experiencing flood alerts.
