New documents shed light on Renee Good’s ties to ICE monitoring efforts in Minneapolis 14.01.2026

New documents reveal Renee Good, who was killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, served on the board of her son's school, Southside Family Charter School. These documents link the school to materials encouraging parents to monitor ICE operations and providing training on nonviolent civil disobedience tactics. Federal officials have suggested Good's actions, which involved partially blocking a street with her SUV as ICE agents operated in the area, constituted "domestic terrorism," a claim legal experts dispute, stating the documents describe standard protest methods. The incident has led to the resignation of at least six federal prosecutors in Minneapolis due to pressure to focus the probe on Good's actions. Good's family stated they were dropping off their son at the school prior to the encounter.
