New information regarding instant noodles sold in Finland – importer comments on the situation 03.07.2026

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has reported a salmonella outbreak that has spread to as many as 14 European countries. The outbreak is suspected to be linked to seasoned noodle products, and 106 salmonella cases were confirmed between November 2025 and June 2026. This has also raised concerns in Finland, where MTV Uutisten Makuja food pages reported on the matter on Friday.
