The University Clinic for Urology – Skopje, under the leadership of Director Dr. Bashkim Shabani, received representatives from the company Vathin for a presentation of the latest endoscopic technology. The visit focused on demonstrating next-generation flexible ureteroscopes, which allow for the treatment of complex kidney and ureteral stones without the need for surgical incisions. This modern technology offers numerous benefits for patients, including a minimally invasive approach, reduced pain, faster recovery, and shorter hospital stays. The clinic expressed official interest in introducing this equipment to provide patients in Macedonia with access to international standards of care. The focus of this new opportunity is directed toward improving quality of life through more efficient and less invasive medical procedures for all patient groups.
