New rule for UAE-India travellers: Fill a mandatory health declaration form before boarding 25.06.2026

India has reintroduced a mandatory online health declaration form for all international travellers, including those flying from the UAE, as part of heightened Ebola screening measures. The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) launched Air Suvidha 2.0 on Thursday, developed with the Directorate General of Health Services. The form, called a Self-Declaration Form (SDF), must be completed up to 24 hours before arrival in India, with passengers strongly advised to fill it before boarding or during web check-in. Upon arrival, travellers only need to show the downloaded form at the health desk or immigration counter, eliminating physical paperwork.
