Diepsloot’s Nkosi Ndebele returns for MMA title defence 26.03.2026

South African MMA fighter Nkosi Ndebele, the reigning PFL Africa bantamweight champion, is set to defend his title for the first time on home soil at the Sun Arena in Pretoria on April 10, 2026. Ndebele, 31, who grew up in Diepsloot, Gauteng, and used mixed martial arts to overcome hardship, clinched the inaugural PFL Africa bantamweight title in December 2025 in Benin. His return to South Africa for PFL Africa season two marks a significant homecoming, allowing him to showcase his growth and inspire aspiring fighters from his community. The PFL aims to highlight African talent, with plans to expand its reach across the continent in 2026.
