A white march is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st, in Nîmes to honor Salah Eddine, an 8-year-old boy who tragically died after being struck by a speeding car on his way to school. The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 17th, around 8:15 AM on Avenue des Arts in the Pissevin neighborhood. The driver, a 17-year-old, initially fled the scene but has since been apprehended. The march, organized by local associations and the victim's family, will begin at 1:30 PM from the entrance of Paul-Langevin primary school, where Salah Eddine was a student. The event aims to be a moment of remembrance, solidarity, and support for the grieving family, with discussions about road safety for children in the neighborhood to follow after the funeral, which is planned for next week in Morocco.
